Hell is above

My new bunk bed is heaven and hell at the same time, but hell is up here.

After my old bed failed, I had to look for a new one. My choice fell on this metal bunk bed. It is 1.40 m wide at the bottom and only 90 cm at the top.

Below is ‘vanilla heaven’, so to speak, so fluffy and comfortable. At the top, on the other hand, the mattress is wrapped in heavy pond liner (as a sheet) and the duvet and pillowcase are also made of thick pond liner. Over it are 4 layers of thick warm blankets. The upper bed also has a railing all around, which allows any type of fixation.

Sleeping in that bed in full gear is going to be hell fast. You sweat like crazy and the pond liner creaks loudly with every movement, so that you can hardly sleep. A 2-hour lunch break is enough to suffer a lot and curse yourself – let’s keep quiet about a whole night…

But if you order it, I’ll lay myself well wrapped up in hell up there.
